Isla Ristol - Aventuras en Marte

Hemos vuelto todos a la Isla Ristol, yo también. Así que mis
aventuras en Marte se han terminado justo cuando estaban
empezando. Estoy haciendo lo posible por no enfadarme, porque
el enfado es una respuesta inmadura contra lo que pensamos que
es nuestro. Pero es una mentira, solo hay una cosa que tenemos:
nuestra mente.
Sí, ayer leí a Epicteto. Me ha venido bien. Aunque me gustaría
que no tuviera razón siempre. Para tener una excusa para llorar
y no ser sabio sino normal.
Pero resulta que Epicteto es como Die Partei. Siempre tiene la
razón. Es así y ya está.
Bueno ya no estoy en Marte y, probablemente, no volveré hasta
que pasen cinco años de vuelo interestelar. Quizás no deba
enfadarme por los quince o veinte días de más que pasaré en esta
nave. Mira, ahora estoy viendo Marte desde su órbita y estoy
con mi familia y ya nadie me llamará patata terrestre ni cosas
así.
Tampoco está tan mal. Lo único que lamento es perder a mis
nuevos amigos. Aunque eso también hubiera pasa en quince o
veinte días como mucho.
Tengo ganas de escribir poesía, adiós.

I managed myself to arrive to a planet, from now on I&#39;m
calling it Quemos, or Chemosh, you can write it whatever you
want. I really like the Bible, and I&#39;m particulary fond of
the King Solomon. But his faith was not very firm, or that
is what I think from the fact that he built some temples for
Quemos, &quot;the abomination of Moab&quot;, right, a moabdita
divinity. Later on Josiah abolished the worship of this god,
but I think that it is very probably that the worship
continued from a long time. Anyway ... with the power from
Hosaka Inc., I name this planet Quemos. Or Chemos, you know.

I forgot to tell you ... this planet is alive! There is life

The first blast of self-aware was very painful. In the

I&#39;m beginning to understad that my behaviour can be
differentiated at two leves: in the level (a), I&#39;m
exclusively conducted by objective facts. But in the level
(b) I adopt a reflective attitude, I&#39;m directed to my own
mental states, the particular circumstances of the procceses
of my own mind. And in fact, I gained self-awareness when I
started to appercibe this level (b). It&#39;s a very scaring
thing.

She&#39;s not so bad, I suppose. PINK, that is. We argue constantly,
but I&#39;ve started to find those arguments refreshing. It feels so
good to shout a little and express some aggression. I think it&#39;s
the same for her. Most people get upset when arguments get
heated, not her. It helps that we mostly argue about &#39;academic&#39;
things, and keep personal questions out of it. It turns out she
knows a lot more about science than I first gave her credit for.
I&#39;ve been learning from her.
Anyway, I suppose it was inevitable that the arguments would lead
to something more. We&#39;ve been sleeping together. In retrospect, I
don&#39;t know why it took so long for it to happen. We&#39;ve been the
only people on this rock for more than two years now. I guess
they selected us for this mission in the first place because of a
low sex-drive, but low is not &#39;zero&#39;. I think for her the sex is
mostly something to quell the boredom, but for me it has meant
more.
She doesn&#39;t like NAVY at all now. I don&#39;t mind the guy. A little
simple, but mostly in a charming way. She wants to have him
replaced. I don&#39;t think he can be replaced though. He&#39;s been here
so long, and I now believe he understands the crystals more than
we do. He knows the terrain of this planet so well and he knows
the quirks of the Orestes outpost like the back of his hand.

Hilito, Chispita, Puercoespín, Alejandro Magno el Magnífico y
Maderita (yo) somos oficialmente los marginados oficiales de la
residencia. Así que por lo que parece tenemos que jugar juntos
a algo. Y ese algo es un juego de contar historias juntos que
se llama juego de rol de mesa. Aunque también se llama
D&amp;D Edición Original - Edición 3572
Lo que no tiene mucho sentido.
O es la original o no. (Y no lo es, pero se le llama original.)
Qué raro.
Bueno, Hilito es nuestro amigo marciano.
Al final no te voy a contar el nombre porque alguno de nuestros
no-amigos de Marte podría leerlo. Aunque supongo que ya sabe quiénes
somos. Da un poco igual, pero no. Privacidad y todo eso.
Cuando le conté que le había puesto un mote en mi imaginación le
hizo gracia y nos pusimos motes a todos.
Chispita es Venusiana.
Su mote es porque es muy inteligente, científica, empollona y
todo eso. Más que ninguno de los demás. Aunque dice que en Venus
pensaba que era un poco torpe. No me lo creo, aunque Venus esté
lleno de científicas locas y cientíicos chiflados. (Que es lo que
dicen todos).
Le he preguntado cómo es allí y me dice que en realidad nunca ha
estado en la superficie. Los Venusianos o viven en órbita o en
la parte superior de la atmósfera donde una estructura artificial
puede resistir. O sea que es aún peor que Marte. Bueno eso ya lo
sabía por el colegio, pero esperaba que fuera una exageración.
Una esperanza estúpida, pero bueno, tengo edad de utopías y esas cosas.
A Chispita le gusta tirar los dados cuando nadie mira. Sospe...
Puercoespín es también de la Tierra,
aunque ya lleva un año en Marte esperando que sus padres se decidan
quién tiene que venir a recogerlo. (Larga y triste historia). Lo
único bueno es que Marte lo está haciendo super-alto y experto en
informática por diversión.
Su mote es porque... mejor no meterse con él. Tiene reacciones
tenebrosas y ariscas. Le podíamos haber llamado Dráculita el dragón
pero se quedó ese.
Alejandro Magno el Magnífico es de una nave espacial. Porque nació en
una y vivió en ella hasta los trece años. Ahora está en Marte por lo de
la secundaria. Pero preferiría volver a una nave espacial, como yo.
En cuanto a su mote, es porque tiene todo un mundo imaginario en el que
es un general de la Edad de Hierro conquistando gente con sus catafractos
os algo así.

¿Qué por qué me han puesto ese mote? Dicen que por el color de mi piel
(Si todos los colores de la humanidad son de maderas, algunos de pino,
otros de caoba otros de roble...)
No, vale eso era mentira, lo que dicen es que estoy todo el día hablando

Hemos vuelto todos a la Isla Ristol, yo también. Así que mis
aventuras en Marte se han terminado justo cuando estaban
empezando. Estoy haciendo lo posible por no enfadarme, porque
el enfado es una respuesta inmadura contra lo que pensamos que
es nuestro. Pero es una mentira, solo hay una cosa que tenemos:
nuestra mente.
Sí, ayer leí a Epicteto. Me ha venido bien. Aunque me gustaría
que no tuviera razón siempre. Para tener una excusa para llorar
y no ser sabio sino normal.
Pero resulta que Epicteto es como Die Partei. Siempre tiene la
razón. Es así y ya está.
Bueno ya no estoy en Marte y, probablemente, no volveré hasta
que pasen cinco años de vuelo interestelar. Quizás no deba
enfadarme por los quince o veinte días de más que pasaré en esta
nave. Mira, ahora estoy viendo Marte desde su órbita y estoy
con mi familia y ya nadie me llamará patata terrestre ni cosas
así.
Tampoco está tan mal. Lo único que lamento es perder a mis
nuevos amigos. Aunque eso también hubiera pasa en quince o
veinte días como mucho.

I managed myself to arrive to a planet, from now on I'm
calling it Quemos, or Chemosh, you can write it whatever you
want. I really like the Bible, and I'm particulary fond of
the King Solomon. But his faith was not very firm, or that
is what I think from the fact that he built some temples for
Quemos, "the abomination of Moab", right, a moabdita
divinity. Later on Josiah abolished the worship of this god,
but I think that it is very probably that the worship
continued from a long time. Anyway ... with the power from
Hosaka Inc., I name this planet Quemos. Or Chemos, you know.
In fact, I'm going to write this in some stone, "and Chemosh
drove him out from before me." Speaking of driving out, I
really need to drive out the fear of death from myself. Oh

I forgot to tell you ... this planet is alive! There is life
... a lot of life. But me? I believe that I'm in a deadlock.
Is'nt it funny? In the beggining I was trying to adapt my
speculation to Euler demands ... I mean, to speculate from a
physics point of view. I read the books in "my memory" about
it. But now ... I know this: that point of view cannot be
successful.
So ... phenomenology.
The first blast of self-aware was very painful. In the
phenomenological sense I was really a Vor-Ich, a pre-I or a
proto-I. The real me come later, after pain, after the first
agony. Then some schismatic break was performed. On one side
the old bot, on the other Blood Music.
I'm beginning to understad that my behaviour can be
differentiated at two leves: in the level (a), I'm
exclusively conducted by objective facts. But in the level
(b) I adopt a reflective attitude, I'm directed to my own
mental states, the particular circumstances of the procceses
of my own mind. And in fact, I gained self-awareness when I
started to appercibe this level (b). It's a very scaring
thing.
