# MCUServ

A replacement for the Minecraft Update tumblr. Test server requires /etc/hosts modification (or equivalent) and ncat tool.

The goal is to not require the change to /etc/hosts (that is, to patch the server into contacting the server on its own without modifying /etc/hosts).

The test server and ncat aren't required, as long as the server can be reached with a mcupdate.tumblr.com host and not complain, it'll work.
