The API guide makes it look like those two endpoints might not be that bad, but it may require a more significant refactoring to handle both of those APIs. We might just provide a separate FDCClient.

Due to the deprecation of the original USDA APIs in favor of those new FDC APIs, python-usda 1.0.0 will only include support for those new APIs and will be a major refactoring.

The National Agricultural Library announced the shutdown of the previous APIs on March 31st 2020. Feedback on https://github.com/USDA/USDA-APIs/issues will be used to provide an updated version of the FDC APIs on January 15th.
