I'd like to give notmuch another shot. Some things have changed that should make it a little simpler this time around. I'm particularly inspired by a notmuch setup emulating Hey.com's mail workflow.

Goals:

  • Emulate hey.com setup (The Screener, Reply Later, Pinned)
    • Custom emacs lisp commands to support this
  • Play nice with mail provider (I'd like to still be able to use mail conveniently from my phone without interrupting anything and vice versa)
  • Easy sending from multiple email addresses
  • Retention policy for auto-deleting mail (example: delete all mail with tag x after 3 months automatically)
  • Keep my email addresses and contacts and filters private
    • GPG encrypted?
    • Make this repo private?
