Art is a label attached to activities related to human skill and imagination. It
|
|
is used rather vaguely, however I have a concise separation in my mind between
|
|
artistic and non-artistic endeavours.
|
|
|
|
For example, painting, drawing, and writing are examples of artistic
|
|
activities. {computation Programming}, carpenting, and sleight of hand are
|
|
examples of crafts. Although they involve creative thinking and can create
|
|
beautiful results, they are not primarily artistic.
