When trying to download the sources file from any release, zip, or tar.gz, the connection fails with:
504 Gateway Time-out

Confirmed as an issue. I am having the same problem. :-(

Whether that specific issue or not, it definitely seems to be a gitea/server issue. I'll get in touch with the server admin to see if they know anything about it and update here. In the meantime, would it be helpful for you if I host a tar.gz somewhere for you to access?

Thank you for your quick answer. There is no need for an alternative host. I'll just wait until the issue is resolved.
