I think dense output is nice by default, but i can see reasons for which people would like to retain the minimal style of dense output, while still printing all the lines.

Maybe we should instead implement an ansible output frontend based on the YAML/JSON plugin?

That could allow for more flexibility, for example deserializing the variables to expand them in task names
