The channel #guru-bots now exists.

The access list contains

  • sarmonsiil
  • vxrx
  • yeti

as founder for not having only a SPOF.

Auto-OP is disabled because I think statements as just another user and as "op at work" should be distinguishable by the reader.

Maybe we should add a /sudo macro to our chat clients? o:-)

If the majority thinks different, I suggest extra nicks for OP work and if that even isn't fit for consensus, I'll re-enable auto-OP and disable it only for my nick (nickserv should be able to do thos?).

Let's see in which direction this channel grows...

There was a discussion about bots and I suggested to put them into an own channel and that felt like consensus, so I made the channel. I don't understand too why nobody has added bots yet.
