The snapshot is from standard Debian11/Gnome and the FF mentioned above.

I can live with that.

But at least others may find the issue if they are hit by it too.

dark-arc, earl-green and github-dark show the same effect. The look of the login page seems not to change.

I manage to login without readable user/password fields. After that the fields look ok.

the fields look like that because you have your username & password saved in firefox and it turns the fields yellow when it autofills them. this isn't a gitea issue.
