i'm not able to reproduce any of the site errors.

afaict, it's due to the dns round robin that i set up for redundancy. i think we might have to use a subdomain (like irc.tilde.chat) to achieve that. i'm working on a writeup of our redundacy plans for irc that i'll link here later so you can see the details, but the tl;dr is that the website is hosted on each server in the roundrobin list, and one of them is failing.

cmccabe is an admin on ~team. he's been busy with irl stuff the last month or so and hasn't been able to be around much.

yeah, but we removed all configs except for #town, so i suppose it's irrelevant.
