tjpcc 1515714986 use a hash set for unread topics 
The "u" or "unread" command diffs two sets stored on disk: all topics, and unread messages.

A flat array was previously used for both, but this resulted in slow O(n^2) behavior.

This diff turns the unread messaegs into a hash set and uses that for the "contains" test in the loop over all topics.

Eric B. Budd 8e2bf30fe5 Fix error when message file exists but UID has been deleted 
When a user record has been removed from `/etc/passwd` but their message file
is still associated with that UID, Iris has no way of pulling up the
user information and crashes.

This corrects that issue, and skips the file.

Additionally, a "debug" mode was added to Iris, so that we can track
down these kinds of issues without annoying regular users of the
software.
