Memoribbon Data Recorder v0.1

Elizabeth Evelene Ariane Amelia Diode, June 2019

AGPL v3

Oh no, what is it this time?

Memoribbon is tool for encoding files onto audio cassette tapes, and ideally, retrieving them at some later time in something resembling their original form.

What it does

Memoribbon takes an input file, which can be anything, and converts it byte-for-byte into a stereo audio stream that can be recorded onto an audio cassette tape. Memoribbon can also convert a sound file recorded from a tape player and attempt to convert it back into the original file.

Why would you want to do this?

You wouldn't. Why would you?

Does it work?

We have no idea. We will let you know when we find the parts we need to test it.
