clear the terminal before showing any thread #1

Hi @nodisc! I thought it would be slightly better to clear the terminal before showing messages, as it gets a little more confusing when previous threads also show up (see screenshot).

less helps because as soon as you make any keystroke it will clear everything else, but that initial view still shows the previous terminal output. Adding this explicit clear fixes it though.
