# Memoribbon Data Recorder v0.1

### Oh no, what is it this time?
|

Memoribbon is tool for encoding files onto audio cassette tapes, and ideally, retrieving
|
|
them at some later time in something resembling their original form.
|
|
|
|

### What it does
|
|
|
|
Memoribbon takes an input file, which can be anything, and converts it byte-for-byte into
|
|
a stereo audio stream that can be recorded onto an audio cassette tape. Memoribbon can
|
|
also convert a sound file recorded from a tape player and attempt to convert it back into
|
|
the original file.
